It's good news now that we have the striping service already to hand.

I remember DCR used to sell an advert reel with Pearl & Dean opening and closing.

There has been a few over the years Robert including of course, Derann. Just try getting hold of any of them now though!
Very hard to find now indeed.

The Pearl & Dean opening I remember the most was the Greek type columns. I often used to think of buying some, but never did.

I have been left by a very good friend of mine who was a chief projectionist at my local Odeon cinema and passed away a couple of years ago, 3 reels of 35mm film which are jam packed of adverts, odeon idents special announcements etc.
Their is well over 100 in total, the adverts date back to the 1960s with the likes of Lyons Maid Ice Cream Walls Ice Cream, Kia Ora Orange Drink with Ronnie Barker, Walls Jumbo Hot Dogs, Crusader Nuts just to name but a few.
just decieding what to do with them.

I am sure someone who projects 35mm film could make very good use of them Dave.
